Hi everyone! Many music enthusiasts (like me) or people who at least listen to the radio has heard of the exclusive, amazing Grammys that has been awarding outstanding music throughout the years, for about sixty-two years. This year’s Grammy was supposed to be like every other ceremony (subtracting the audience and other events due to COVID restrictions) but sadly, due to the growing numbers of COVID infections, the Grammys were pushed back to March 14, 2021. The Grammys were planned to be held near the end of January and caused many fandoms of artists to anticipate some excitement over the performances and awards. For example, for the first time in their successful career, BTS has received a Grammy nomination for their Billboard topping “Dynamite.” Taylor Swift’s new album, folklore, is nominated in many categories (a very good album, with very good songs) as well.

Going on to the movie category, Netflix has recently promised to release a new movie every week during 2021! Many well known actors, producers and singers will be featured in this movie release marathon. Some include the noteworthy producer of Hamilton, Lin Manuel Miranda, the pro-wrestler-turned actor, Dwayne Johnson, the ever-so-popular singer, Ariana Grande, and the amazing actress whom played Katniss in the Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence. These movies range from romance to action to adventure, so be sure to check every once in a while!

Lastly, since it’s a new year, many artists have been planning/hinting about new albums that they are going to release this year. Some artists that have hinted some releases are: Adele, Billie Eilish, Sia, Rihanna, Rosalia, Selena Gomez, Travis Scott, Lil Nas X, BTS, V’s first mixtape (a member of BTS), and Jungkook from BTS, who might release his mixtape as well (some fans have gathered clues and other hints about his release). I hope you have great weekend!
